Al has taken Chicago by storm with his compassion and talent for creating beauty, growing a very popular clientele of over 1,000 women. Aside from his remarkable efforts behind the chair and extensive training, Al has become highly sought after as a texture expert and for his trendsetting eye for editorial and long-hair design.

Al has been trailblazing and leaving his mark on the industry through involvement with Legacy Award’s Next Gen Artist program, serving with Beauty Changes Lives as an Ambassador, styling for daytime TV shows including The Doctors, working with VH1’s production team, being named to Modern Salon’s 100 honoree list, and contributing to numerous magazine publications.

His deep passion for education led him to become a member of Mizani USA’s Global Design Team as an artist and educator. Working alongside other amazing artists, he has received extensive training in education and facilitation. He has also become a NAHA (North American Hairstylist Awards) competitor and an ABS Global Image Award winner.

He plans to consistently push the next generation of the beauty industry through education as the founder and co-owner of AAL TEXTURES SALON CO., while continuing to build his résumé through editorial finishing.
